Progress on the PS5 emulator is becoming increasingly impressive! Recently, a user posted on Twitter announcing that "Demon's Souls Remake" can achieve 120 FPS on the KYTYPS5 emulator. Their PC configuration includes a 9800 X3D CPU and an RTX 4080 GPU.
It is reported that "Demon's Souls Remake" has seen a significant performance boost on the PS5 emulator, increasing from 60 FPS to a maximum of 120 FPS. Stuttering has been reduced, and shader pre-compilation has significantly improved in-game stutter. The character creation feature is also working properly.
Notably, "Demon's Souls Remake" could only run at 2-3 FPS on the PS5 emulator back in September this year. In just over a month, it has reached 120 FPS. It's truly insane.
In addition to "Demon's Souls Remake," other first-party PS5 games have also made good progress:
"Ghost of Yotei" can now enter the game screen using a modified version of the SharpEmu emulator. Although the current running speed is only about 1-2 FPS, the game is already rendering and playable.
The cutscene frame rate for "Marvel's Wolverine" has reached approximately 40 FPS, and overall game performance has improved. The actual gameplay frame rate for "Marvel's Wolverine" is currently around 10-15 FPS. Just over a week ago, the gameplay frame rate was only about 6-9 FPS.
On the new version of the KytyPS5 emulator with an RTX 4070 Super, "Astro Bot" can achieve approximately 40-50 FPS.
"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" has also successfully entered the gameplay stage on the KytyPS5 emulator.
The emulator continues to make progress in graphics rendering, lighting effects, and shader compatibility. AMD GPU support has also received several important fixes.
It should be noted that some of the aforementioned achievements still rely on experimental versions or modified custom builds.
