PlayStation and Marvel Games have launched five PSN avatars themed around "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," including one featuring Tom Holland as Spider-Man. The avatars can be used on PS4 and PS5 accounts. Reports suggest that players can currently claim them using regional redemption codes without needing a PlayStation Plus membership or paying any fees.
The current redemption codes provided are 726X-HNE4-P22M for the US region and RG8L-32NF-3NLP for the European region. However, the conditions for the limited-time event previously announced by PlayStation were different: members could unlock avatars for free via the Sony Pictures Core app, while non-members had to purchase or rent the movie to claim them.
It is currently unclear whether the availability of redemption codes for non-members is an additional claim method or a setting issue that may be corrected later. These avatars are part of the movie's promotional content and are not new Spider-Man game content.
