The PC Brazil modding team has released a free multiplayer mod for the PC version of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, supporting up to 16 players in co-op. The game originally only supported single-player, but with the mod installed, players can explore virtual New York together.
Currently, players can freely move around the city, view crime events, and jointly handle crimes occurring in the city. These city exploration features are available, but the co-op gameplay is still in its early stages.
The mod creator stated that most missions in the game are currently not playable in co-op mode, with only a few missions supported. Some main and side quests are still being tested and debugged, and the team warns players that they may encounter bugs.
This mod is available for free on Nexus Mods under the name "PC Brazil Multiplayer." It is a player-made PC mod and not an officially added multiplayer mode for the game.
