Dynasty Warriors 2 with Xtreme Legends Remastered has received the version 1.0.2 update. This remaster of Dynasty Warriors 3 fixes an issue where the game could unexpectedly close when entering Free Mode after completing a Musou Mode campaign, and addresses various display errors.
The display issues involved incorrect generals appearing in some dialogues, distant buildings and other objects failing to render properly, and inconsistencies between level boundaries and environmental visual elements. The patch fixes or adjusts these issues, along with other bug fixes.
The game was originally scheduled to launch on March 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, Switch, and PC, but was delayed. It was ultimately released on October 1, 2026, for platforms including Switch 2. Version 1.0.2 is an update released after the game's launch.
