Riot Games released the symphonic theme music video for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship on October 13, performed by the in-game virtual rock band Pentakill. Based on a remix of the original World Championship theme, this track offers an alternative musical interpretation ahead of the tournament.
This symphonic remix was composed and produced by Rich Thomson, with Owain Williams on lead guitar, Jose “Atlan” Aranda on keyboards, and George Lever handling mixing and mastering. Riot Games Music served as executive producer. The original World Championship theme was composed by Alexander Temple and Sebastien Najand.
Pentakill is composed of League of Legends champions, including Karthus, Mordekaiser, Olaf, Sona, and Yorick. The band has been actively releasing music since its debut album in 2014.
The 2026 League of Legends World Championship is scheduled to kick off on October 16. This video features Pentakill's reinterpretation of the existing World Championship theme song.
