Battlefield 6 launches with a $30 Ultimate Shortcut Bundle. Upon purchase, players can immediately unlock weapons for all four classes and achieve full mastery progress on them, eliminating the need to gradually acquire firearms and level them up.
The Shortcut Bundle also includes partial mastery progress, training paths, and equipment for certain vehicles, as well as the "Mortal Shriek" Dog.exe tag and the "Field Training: Cross Trained" title. It is sold as a standalone item and is also included in the newly announced Annual Game Edition bundle; $30 is the standalone price for the Shortcut Bundle.
Previous entries in the series have sold similar items: the related product for Battlefield 3 was priced at $40, and for Battlefield 4 at $50. Player opinions on this paid unlock are mixed: some worry that immediate weapon access will disadvantage those who spend time leveling up, while others welcome the option to skip accumulating weapon progress.
Coinciding with the release of this Shortcut Bundle, Battlefield 6 receives its Season 5 update and joins Xbox Game Pass. Whether paying to shorten the progression process affects game fairness remains a topic of discussion among players.
