A GTA VI screenshot released by Rockstar has sparked player speculation about the fate of Jason and Lucia. In the image, the two are close to each other, seemingly about to kiss; helicopters can also be seen in the background, along with several police boats carrying armed officers.
The simultaneous presence of intimate gestures and a police包围 in the image has led some players to speculate that this might be a scene from the later part of the story, possibly even related to the protagonists' ending. Rockstar previously described the game's story as "Bonnie and Clyde"-style, which also evokes associations with a tragic conclusion.
Before the release of GTA V, there was also a promotional image showing the protagonist standing next to an open car trunk. Players later discovered that this image was related to one of the game's endings. However, this precedent does not prove that the GTA VI screenshot similarly depicts an ending.
This screenshot does not specify which part of the plot it corresponds to, nor does it clarify whether it is taken from an actual in-game cutscene. Promotional images may be specially created showcase visuals; even if sourced from the game, a single frame may not convey the full context. The specific ending for Jason and Lucia remains a matter of player speculation.
