Beats has partnered with The Pokémon Company International to launch a Pokémon-themed limited edition Pill Bluetooth speaker, featuring Pikachu and Mimikyu as its design themes. The product is scheduled for release on October 15, priced at $150.
The front and back of the speaker feature different designs: the Pikachu side is electric yellow, while the Mimikyu side uses a grayscale color scheme. This is also the first time Beats has included charms with the Pill speaker. The limited edition comes with Poké Ball, Beats logo, and Pikachu lightning bolt element charms, and the packaging has been specially designed.
The changes in this collaboration are mainly in the appearance and included accessories, while the audio configuration remains the same as the standard Pill. The speaker features a custom acoustic system and supports high-resolution lossless audio playback via USB-C; two Pills can also be wirelessly paired using Amplify or Stereo mode.
The product boasts up to 24 hours of battery life, an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, and includes a detachable lanyard and silicone back. Its USB-C port can also charge compatible phones.
