"Moto X" Launches on Modern Platforms on October 16! First Digital Release

Moto X, a SNES motorcycle racing game originally scheduled for release in 1994, is set to launch on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 16 for $5.99. This will mark the title's first digital release and its debut on modern hardware.

Moto X was developed by UK studio Software Creations in collaboration with Trimark Interactive. The game was completed at the time, but Trimark Interactive pulled out before release, preventing its original launch. For many years, the title remained unavailable to the general public. PIKO Interactive released a physical SNES version in 2023, though this format remains difficult for most players to access.

The modern platform version is handled by Ratalaika Games. Players can race against other riders on tracks with obstacles using 250cc, 550cc, or 750cc motorcycles, and collect power-ups during races to gain an advantage. The game also features two-player split-screen, three difficulty levels, and 18 racing stages.
