Analytics firm Sensor Tower estimates that global digital pre-orders for GTA VI on PlayStation and Xbox platforms have exceeded 6 million copies, totaling approximately 6.08 million. Of these, PlayStation accounts for about three-quarters.
Broken down by platform, estimated pre-orders are approximately 4.51 million for PlayStation and 1.57 million for Xbox. Combined digital pre-order revenue for the two platforms is estimated at around $594 million.
The game is still over a month away from release. The figures for units, revenue, and platform share mentioned above are estimates; Rockstar and Take-Two have not provided official pre-order data.
