To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon series, a special edition Beats Pill wireless Bluetooth speaker has been launched in collaboration with Beats. The product is scheduled to go on sale at 8:00 AM PT on October 15, priced at $149.99, the same as the regular price for the standard Beats Pill.
The co-branded speaker grille features Pikachu and Mimikyu. Pikachu is surrounded by gray lightning bolt patterns, while Mimikyu appears in grayscale; the included lanyard has a Poké Ball charm, and the package also includes special edition co-branded stickers.
Aside from the exterior design, the co-branded model looks basically identical to the standard Beats Pill. The standard version offers up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge, supports USB-C charging, can power your phone, and features an IP67 rating. Two speakers can be wirelessly connected to sync playback via Amplify mode or switch to Stereo mode.
This co-branded speaker will be available on Apple's website, at Target stores, and on their website.
