The online archive Pardall Games Library featured models and animations from 18 PS1 and N64 games at the time of the interview. Users can view assets online, place models, maps, or levels from different games side by side, and play animations.
Archive creator Alfred Baudisch stated that when he previously studied game models, he needed to launch development tools, import assets, and then view and compare them one by one. To reduce wait times, he first built an internal browser, which later evolved into a public website. The archive includes games such as Final Fantasy VII, Resident Evil 2, Tomb Raider, and 007: Golden Eye.
The website offers search and filtering functions. The model viewer can display wireframes, vertex colors, and other information, allowing users to explore levels directly in the browser. A feature called "3D Arena" supports side-by-side asset display and allows exporting animated scenes as GIFs.
Baudisch views the website as a "digital museum" for exploration, viewing, and reference, so model downloads are not available. He believes that artists, level designers, and developers can use it to study old game assets, while ordinary players can also browse and appreciate them. To handle the organization of large amounts of assets, he uses batch tagging tools, and visitors can report issues via the error reporting button for each asset.
