LEGO is inviting fans to submit brick-built designs that blend elements from Star Wars and Marvel Comics. The grand prize-winning entry for each challenge will be released as an official set. This event aims to celebrate the upcoming 50th anniversary of Star Wars, with submissions divided into three categories: Character, Vehicle, and Scene Mashups.
The Character category requires combining character elements from both franchises; the Vehicle category allows creations centered around iconic transportation from both sides; and the Scene category calls for builds that merge settings from both worlds. Submissions must be original mashup designs, using only characters, vehicles, or scenes from Star Wars: A New Hope and Marvel Comics, with a piece count between 400 and 3,000 bricks.
All three challenges are now open, with a deadline of November 12. In addition to having their designs sold as official LEGO sets, the grand prize winners in each category will receive 1% of the product's net sales, ten complimentary copies of the set, and credit along with a personal bio in the set's information.
Entries that make it to the fan voting stage also have a chance to win other LEGO set prizes. For specific submission guidelines and detailed rules for each category, please refer to the official LEGO event page.
