AdHoc Studio stated that TGA host Geoff Keighley has confirmed that "Superhero Dispatch Center" is eligible for consideration at The Game Awards 2026, including major categories. This means the game can compete for a second consecutive year, but whether it receives nominations for awards such as Game of the Year will still depend on the votes of this year's judges.
"Superhero Dispatch Center" is released in episodic format, with Season 1 consisting of eight episodes. All chapters were released before November 12, 2025, ahead of the awards' deadline on November 21 of that year.
The studio recalled that when the game was nominated for Best Independent Debut at the previous ceremony, judges had only experienced about half a season's worth of content. At the time, the team did not provide early access to unreleased chapters for the media.
