GTA 6 PC Version Coming in Early 2027? Analysts: Probably Not That Soon

Rumors suggesting that the PC version of GTA VI might launch in early 2027 are being questioned. Analysts and industry insiders consider this timeline overly optimistic, while community researcher videotech predicts that the PC version may not arrive until late spring 2027.

《GTA6》PC版2027年初就来?分析人士:恐怕没那么快

Analysts base their judgment on Take-Two Interactive's fiscal year expectations ending March 31, 2027. They argue that if the PC version were planned for release in the final months of that fiscal year, the associated revenue should have been reflected earlier in investor forecasts. However, financial projections alone cannot determine a game's release schedule. Take-Two is scheduled to announce its new financial report on November 9, at which point we can observe whether its expectations have changed.

videotech also doubts that the PC version will launch in an earlier window. He cited Rockstar Games' history of delays and expressed hope that the team would fully polish the port to avoid repeating the technical issues seen at the launch of the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Post-launch fixes and maintenance for console versions, along with adapting to a wide range of PC configurations, are also considered potential factors affecting the porting schedule. Currently, "early 2027" remains a rumor, and "late spring 2027" is merely a prediction; neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two has confirmed a release date for the PC version.
