On October 14, the League of Legends virtual group K/DA posted a new message and promotional image on their official X account. The accompanying image was interpreted as a possible teaser for the new song "Start A Fire" to be announced on October 20, but there is currently no clear official statement confirming the song title or release date.
The post read, "Did we get your attention?" K/DA consists of Ahri, Kai'Sa, Evelynn, and Akali. This update comes ahead of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship, which is scheduled to begin on October 16.
Since September this year, other virtual groups have also released music content related to the tournament: HEARTSTEEL launched "Live My Life," and True Damage performed the World Championship theme song "Know My Name."
Pentakill also performed the symphonic theme song for the World Championship. The confirmed activity for K/DA this time is that their account posted new promotional content, while speculation regarding "Start A Fire" and October 20 remains to be further announced.
