Pokémon GO will hold a Chandelure-themed Super Mega Raid Day from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time on October 31, 2026. Mega Chandelure will make its debut in these Raids, and players will have the chance to encounter Shiny Chandelure. The event will also introduce a new Mega Level for Mega Chandelure called "Super Max".
To reach "Super Max" level, a Pokémon must first achieve the third highest Mega Evolution level. After that, repeated Mega Evolutions alone are not enough to level up; players must also participate in Mega Raids and use the corresponding Mega Energy. While in its Mega-Evolved form, Mega Chandelure can use the additional Charged Attack "Strange Wind+", whose power increases with the Mega Level.
The event features a Global Challenge, where trainers worldwide completing Raids can unlock reward tiers. The base power of "Strange Wind+" obtainable after Mega Chandelure, as well as combat power rewards for the highest level, depend on challenge completion.
During the event, players can spin Gym Photo Discs to receive up to six free Raid Passes. Timed Research rewards include a Premium Battle Pass and a chance to encounter Tyranitar; there is also a ticket priced at $4.99 USD or local equivalent, offering more chances for Raid Passes and other rewards.
Super Mega Raids may only appear at certain Gyms. Players can find Raids and nearby gatherings via the map; specific participation details depend on local event times and in-game displays.
