The official trailer for "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2" has been released. The animated series is jointly produced by CD PROJEKT RED and Trigger. The second season features a brand-new story independent of the first, revolving around "redemption and revenge." The developers describe it as a brutal chronicle, with a narrative tone that is "sadder, darker, bloodier, and more primal" than its predecessor.
This season focuses on ensemble storytelling, shifting from the single perspective of David in the previous work to multiple protagonists. Core characters include the netrunner D, cinephile Roman Karax, Talia Yang, and Mic Kingsley along with his "KING Squad" members (Meshuga, Miguel, Emily). Actor Daniel Wu has confirmed his participation in the voice cast, lending his voice to the character Kirill Yang—Talia's father, Avida's husband, and a senior executive at Kang Tao, known for his calm and cold demeanor.
