Activision has announced the start date for Season 1 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
Activision confirmed on Wednesday that Season 1 will begin on Friday, November 6, exactly two weeks after the game's official release on October 23.
Specific details for Season 1 have not yet been revealed. Activision is expected to share more information shortly after the game's release, once players have had time to experience the existing content. What has been confirmed is that the multiplayer map "Shipment" will return on October 27.
Modern Warfare III will launch with a wealth of content, including a brand-new Campaign, the return of the DMZ mode, and the traditional multiplayer modes that have become staples of the series over the years.
Players who pre-order or pre-purchase the game can access the Campaign early starting October 16. Early access for the DMZ mode will begin on October 20.
