Unofficial PC Port of Call of Duty 3 Released, Now Supports All 15 Levels

Enthusiasts have released an unofficial PC port of Call of Duty 3, which currently supports all 15 levels of the game. Originally launched in 2006 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2, and the original Xbox, the title had never received an official PC release.

《使命召唤3》非官方PC移植版发布,已支持全部15个关卡

This port is based on the Xbox 360 version. In addition to the levels, menus, loading screens, opening cinematics, gunplay mechanics, and checkpoints are all functional.

PC settings include resolution scaling, windowed and borderless fullscreen modes, field of view, MSAA and FXAA anti-aliasing, texture filtering, as well as adjustments for texture quality and model detail. The game can exceed the Xbox 360's 60 FPS cap, though players can also limit the frame rate themselves; menus and cinematics continue to play at their respective frame rates.

The port has supported keyboard and mouse controls since its release day, allowing players to switch to raw mouse input and rebind keys. The in-game settings menu also offers options for subtitles, aim assist, and a command console.

This unofficial port does not include game assets; players must provide their own Xbox 360 ISO image to run it. Current information does not specify the scope of compatibility testing, so performance on specific devices remains to be verified.
