In a new overview trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, Nintendo confirmed that the game supports previously released The Legend of Zelda series amiibo, not limited to the two newly announced figures for the remake. The trailer footage shows Link obtaining items such as Hearts, Green Potions, and Deku Sticks.
Currently, Nintendo has not announced the complete rewards and usage rules for each older amiibo, nor clarified if there are any usage limits. The trailer only displayed some item rewards, so it remains uncertain whether older figures will still provide exclusive appearances or weapons.
The two new amiibo figures previously announced by Nintendo correspond to Young Link and Young Zelda, allowing players to obtain masks for these characters. The new trailer also showcases the updated environments, characters, and combat visuals in the remake.
The release date for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is listed as November 5, launching on Nintendo Switch 2, and pre-orders are now open.
