James Gunn of DC Studios believes that Batman Beyond could be suitable for a film adaptation, but no related projects have been announced yet. He shared this idea at the Clayface premiere event when asked whether past Batman animated works could provide material for future DC Studios projects.
Gunn expressed his fondness for Batman Beyond and believes it has the potential to be adapted into a film. This is merely his personal opinion on adaptation material; he has not announced any new project, nor has he specified whether a potential film would be live-action or animated.
Batman Beyond premiered in 1999, set in the future. Terry McGinnis takes up the mantle of Batman, with an older Bruce Wayne providing assistance. The series ran for three seasons, and the character later appeared in comics and other animated works.
There have been previous attempts to adapt Batman Beyond into a live-action film. Filmmakers involved in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse series also revealed that they had pitched an animated film proposal to former DC executives, but it was not accepted. As for whether a film will be made now, we must wait for DC Studios to announce specific plans.
