Sony has unveiled a PS5 DualSense wireless controller themed around the Gran Turismo series, which will be released globally in limited quantities. Pre-orders will open on October 22 in regions with PlayStation Direct service, with the controller scheduled for release on December 10.
The controller features racing stripes and motorsport patterns, with a carbon fiber-style texture on the front panel. Kazunori Yamauchi, head of Polyphony Digital, stated that the Gran Turismo series began nearly thirty years ago, and this commemorative controller is tied to the series' history.
The controller has a suggested retail price of $84.99 in the US, ¥12,480 (including tax) in Japan, €84.99 in Europe, and £74.99 in the UK. It will also be available through other retailers, though the specific list has not yet been announced.
