In Rockstar's GTA series, there used to be a six-star wanted level, which was reduced to five stars in GTA V. Now, Rockstar is returning to its roots by reintroducing the six-star wanted level in GTA 6.
This has been confirmed in the GTA 6 gameplay demo released today on Netflix. Although it's unclear what heinous acts Jason and Lucia committed to attract such a massive police presence, it's clear that the overwhelming number of officers won't let them off easily. Icons shown in the GTA 6 trailer also suggest that the game will feature indicators for specific crimes committed by the player. While full details are not yet available, it is entirely logical that Rockstar will improve the wanted system in some form.
For example, when Jason or Lucia hides a car in the garage, one of the icons—the car—will disappear. Additionally, players can destroy surveillance camera footage to evade police pursuit. However, if you choose to confront them head-on with aggressive actions, such as storming an area with a gun, the police will respond with greater force.
