Inti Creates has opened pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Azure Striker GUNVOLT: Trinity Edition and its Upgrade Pass on the Nintendo eShop, with a planned release date of October 22, 2026. The collection includes all three titles from the Azure Striker GUNVOLT series along with all downloadable content, and adds the new story chapter, Azure Striker GUNVOLT GX.
Azure Striker GUNVOLT GX features both Copen and Gunvolt, presenting a newly written, fully voiced story. Players must switch between the two protagonists at the right moments to complete missions. The new storyline also includes level progression elements, and high-difficulty missions will unlock after completing all scenarios.
Azure Striker GUNVOLT GX is also scheduled to be released separately as downloadable content for the PC and PS5 versions on October 22, priced at 1,500 yen for both platforms.
