Konami Digital Entertainment Limited (KONAMI) today announced that Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is now available on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam®. Wielding the legendary holy whip "Vampire Killer," Rose Belmont ventures into monster-infested cities and a mysterious castle to hunt down evil creatures and save the citizens of Paris from the threat of eternal darkness.
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is a 2D action-exploration game developed jointly by KONAMI, Evil Empire, and Motion Twin. The story takes place in Paris, France, in 1499, 23 years after the events of the popular title Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. Rose Belmont, daughter of Trevor Belmont—the hero who defeated Dracula—embarks on a journey through the burning streets of Paris and the Demon Castle, using various weapons and skills, including the holy whip "Vampire Killer," to vanquish monsters.
Both longtime fans and newcomers can utilize a diverse array of weapons and abilities to confront threats from the darkness. Exploration is at the core of this adventure, and players brave enough to venture into uncharted areas will discover numerous secrets and enhancements hidden within the Demon Castle. Accompanying players on their journey is an atmospheric original score composed by Daniel ASADI, upholding the Castlevania series' rich musical tradition.
The digital and physical Midnight Editions of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse include an alternate costume for Rose Belmont, a digital soundtrack and art gallery, as well as in-game magic item props.
