Microsoft officially launched the Xbox Nano controller today. This smaller, more affordable controller fits easily into your pocket and is designed for "younger players, people with smaller hands, or anyone who wants a portable device for gaming on the go," priced at 329 yuan.
The Xbox Nano is Microsoft's smallest controller, measuring just over 5 inches (about 127 mm) in length—shorter than most smartphones—and weighing approximately 99 grams.
It features all the standard buttons found on a regular Xbox controller and supports both Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing it to connect to Xbox consoles, smartphones, tablets, and PCs.
The Xbox Nano controller has a built-in rechargeable battery, unlike most Xbox controllers that require AA batteries or a separate charging kit.
Microsoft has also added a customizable action button that can be set for screenshots, recording gameplay, and other Xbox quick actions.
Microsoft is partnering with Samsung to bundle the new Xbox Nano controller with select Samsung TVs during the year-end holiday season, including a two-month Game Pass subscription.
Additionally, Microsoft is in discussions with Meta to offer the Xbox Nano controller and a Game Pass subscription to users who purchase new Meta Quest headsets.
