The new device features RGB water cooling, a 185Hz under-display full screen, and an 8,400mAh battery, and went on sale at 18:00 on the same day through official stores and authorized channels.
For cooling, the Red Magic 12 Pro+ employs a pulsating water cooling engine, an active cooling fan, graphene, VC, and liquid metal. RGB lighting effects are integrated into the water cooling area and can change according to game status. According to the release materials, the dual-crystal water cooling micro-pump delivers 85% more power than the previous generation, and the fan speed reaches 25,500 RPM. The brand also refers to the RGB water cooling as an "industry first."
The new phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, the self-developed Red Core R5 e-sports chip, and the CUBE Qingtian Game Engine 4.0. The screen uses ninth-generation under-display technology, with a listed global touch sampling rate of 500Hz and a peak instantaneous touch sampling rate of 5,000Hz. The brand calls this 185Hz display the "industry's first true under-display full screen."
The Red Magic 12 Pro+ supports 120W wired fast charging and 80W wireless fast charging, weighing 223 grams and measuring 8.5mm thick. REDMAGIC OS 12 adds AI-related features and cross-device transfer capabilities. The prices for the 12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB versions are 6,999 yuan, 7,999 yuan, and 8,999 yuan, respectively.
