Six games arrive on Switch 2 on October 16, with three Resident Evil titles running natively on the console without relying on cloud streaming. This lineup mainly consists of ports of older titles, with Dark Dreams being the only new game among them.
The six games are The LEGO Harry Potter Collection, Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 4 Remake Gold Edition, Tales of Eternia Remastered, and Dark Dreams.
Previously, newer entries in the Resident Evil series were only available on the original Switch via cloud versions. The three Switch 2 versions listed here run natively on the console, with Resident Evil 2 released as the Deluxe Edition and Resident Evil 4 Remake as the Gold Edition.
The LEGO Harry Potter Collection includes two LEGO Harry Potter games with local co-op support; the collection was previously released on the original Switch but offers no upgrade path. Tales of Eternia Remastered brings the classic PlayStation 1 action RPG to modern platforms. Dark Dreams is a horror game that combines retro-style visuals with live-action cutscenes.
