Unofficial Native PC Port of 'The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom' Is Now Runnable, Needs Two to Four More Weeks to Complete

The unofficial native PC port of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, created by modder NotRexed, is now runnable. Developed through recompilation, the project currently showcases its progress, with no finished version available for public download yet.

Footage posted by NotRexed on social media shows that the project currently runs at around 32 to 59 FPS when using a GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card. He acknowledged that performance is still slow at this stage and noted that work on the project has only been underway for a few days.

When asked about the completion timeline, NotRexed estimated it would take another two to four weeks. This is his progress estimate rather than a confirmed release date; he also stated that he does not want to release an unfinished port.
