Treyarch and Raven Software released the 1.109 update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone on October 15, adjusting various weapons and attachments while fixing gameplay and technical issues. The development team also confirmed that this is the final game update for the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
Weapon changes involve fire rate, damage, damage range, recoil, hip-fire accuracy, aim-down-sights time, and movement speed. Adjustments to shotguns primarily reduce handling speed during sprints and hip-fire effectiveness to curb aggressive close-quarters playstyles. Some attachment effects were also corrected, with one bolt component now properly increasing fire rate by 6%.
Call of Duty: Warzone fixed an exploit that allowed players to repeatedly purchase and stack Self-Revive Kits at the Black Market. Issues with challenge status, optic displays, firing modes, and map object placement were also addressed in this patch.
The Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 received fixes for enemy pathfinding, item pickup, weapon upgrades, and boss battle voting errors, and added Season 6 weapons to the Mystery Box. The development team stated that there are currently no plans to add further content to this mode.
