The limited-time Halloween event “Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprise” in Pokémon: Pokopia will begin at 5:00 AM local time on October 17 and end at 4:59 AM local time on November 1. During the event, players can collect Pumpkin Candy to exchange for limited-time themed furniture and decorations.
Participating in the event requires completing two in-game conditions. Players must rebuild at least one Pokémon Center, after which Pumpkaboo will appear nearby and can be befriended. Next, players need to find Zorua on Desolate Beach to learn the Disguise ability.
After learning Disguise, players can hide and approach Pokémon by surprise to earn the event currency Pumpkin Candy. The candy can be exchanged for limited-time themed furniture and decorations, which can also be used to build habitats suitable for Gourgeist.
This is a free, limited-time event separate from the game’s paid expansion content. Previously released expansions added new villages, with further expansions scheduled for later release. The Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist encountered during this event will remain after the event ends.
