This weekend, Steam is offering free trials for Battlefield 6 and Stranded Deep, allowing PC players to experience both games from October 15 to 19. Both titles are also 60% off, though the trial and discount periods end at different times. The free trial ends at 10:00 AM PT on October 19, which is 1:00 PM ET.
Battlefield 6 centers on large-scale modern warfare, featuring infantry combat, tanks, fighter jets, and destructible environments, along with a single-player campaign and cross-platform multiplayer. The game recently launched its fifth season, and is currently discounted from $69.99 to $27.99.
Stranded Deep begins with a plane crash in the Pacific Ocean. Players must find food and fresh water, explore islands and shipwrecks, craft tools and shelters, while dealing with threats like hunger, thirst, and wild animals. The game is discounted from $19.99 to $7.99.
The two games offer multiplayer shooter and open-world survival crafting gameplay respectively. After the free trial ends on October 19, the purchase discount for Battlefield 6 will last until October 20, while the discount for Stranded Deep will continue until October 22.
