Capcom released the Dragon's Dogma 2 version 4.100/4.1 update on October 15 for PS5 Pro, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. This patch addresses various issues that arose after the release of the "Dark Arisen" DLC, covering combat, Pawns, quests, and the user interface.
In terms of combat, the patch fixes issues such as subsequent actions still being triggered when pressing the cancel button during specific attacks, abnormalities with the lock-on function, and certain skill effects not triggering as expected. Also included in the fixes are situations where players cannot break free after being grabbed by a Chimera, and Pawns occasionally being knocked into the air when fighting specific enemies.
Pawn behavior has also been adjusted: the update reduces the frequency of Pawns falling off cliffs and addresses issues where Pawns occasionally remain stationary after receiving exploration orders or fail to sheathe their weapons after combat ends.
Regarding quests, the patch fixes issues such as quest dialogues being incorrectly triggered when talking to NPCs and selecting equipment modifications, quests being marked as failed despite meeting conditions, and mechanisms required to progress quests not appearing. Additionally, the update adjusts the facial expressions of the protagonist and Pawns during specific actions, and fixes anomalies in key bindings, storage equipment, save data, and text display.
