UK retailer Smyths Toys has relisted The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition Nintendo Switch 2. At the time of reporting, the console was priced at £429.99, which is £10 more than the standard model. The initial batch of pre-orders had previously sold out quickly.
This commemorative edition was first available for pre-order on September 9 and did not return to shelves until this restock. It features green Joy-Cons and a dock with gold accents, making it the first The Legend of Zelda-themed collaborative model for the Nintendo Switch 2.
The commemorative edition console is scheduled to launch on November 5, coinciding with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered. This restock is for the UK market; as of the time of reporting, no similar restock has appeared in the US market. At that time, Walmart in the US had a 40th Anniversary Edition carrying case priced at $39, and both the matching controllers and carrying cases were out of stock.
