Nintendo has announced a price increase for repairs of the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch consoles due to rising costs of repair parts. The new prices apply to repair items received by Nintendo on or after November 16, 2026, based on the actual delivery date.
This adjustment applies to the console units of both generations of Switch. The reference price for CPU motherboard repairs for all models has increased by 9,900 yen, while other components have increased by 1,100 yen.
Repair prices for the dock and Joy-Con controllers remain unchanged. Players preparing to send their devices for repair should identify whether the issue lies with the console itself, the dock, or the controllers.
If the console itself is sent for repair, the applicable price depends on the date Nintendo receives the item. Please refer to Nintendo's official pricing page for reference prices for specific repair services.
