Frostpunk, developed by Snapshot Games and published by Arc Games, has exited Early Access. The PC 1.0 full release is now available on Steam and Epic Games Store, priced at 136 yuan. The full version includes the complete campaign from the同名 board game, featuring the final chapter and all 17 playable heroes. The publisher also released a launch trailer at the Galaxies Showcase event.
Players can progress through the campaign solo or cooperate online with friends. Different combinations of classes and skills require teams to consider synergy and resource management during combat.
To help new players understand the game systems, the full release adds introductory content called "The Road to Frostpunk," unlockable hero introduction videos, and an in-game encyclopedia.
The multiplayer system and network connectivity have also been improved, and players can customize rules through adjustable "house rules." The development team stated that feedback received during Early Access drove these changes.
During the launch period, Steam is offering a 30% discount, with Epic Games Store planning to start the same discount on October 20. Steam also lists two bundles with a 10% discount: one paired with another strategy RPG, and the other including the base game, soundtrack, and digital artbook.
