Razer has launched the Barracuda V2 Pro wireless headset, which features a storage compartment for the included 2.4GHz HyperSpeed wireless receiver inside the left earcup. Simply remove the magnetic outer cover of the left earcup to store the receiver inside. The headset is priced at $199.99 or £199.99.
The storage compartment only fits the receiver and cannot accommodate the included USB-C to USB-A adapter. The outer cover of the right earcup is also removable, but there is currently no information indicating that accessories can be stored inside it. The headset supports simultaneous 2.4GHz and Bluetooth audio connections, and the receiver can be accessed from the left earcup when needed.
In terms of specifications, the Barracuda V2 Pro is equipped with 40mm TriForce Bio-Cellulose drivers, supports Active Noise Cancellation and THX Spatial Audio+, and weighs 285 grams. The headset features a foldable design and boasts a maximum battery life of up to 70 hours.
Reviewers who tested the headset noted that its foldable design makes it easy to carry in a bag for daily use, and storing the receiver inside the earcup helps reduce the risk of losing it when switching devices or on the go.
