Savage Raven, under Skull & Co, has launched a Legend of Zelda-style limited edition FissionGrip shell for the Switch 2, now available for pre-order. The pre-order page lists the accessory at $55.99, with a displayed price of $32.99.
This grip shell features a green and gold color scheme, with the Triforce symbol printed on the back and handles on both sides of the console for easier holding. It is an accessory that attaches to the console, not a carrying case for the entire system. The article also compares its appearance and price to the $519.99 40th Anniversary Edition Switch 2, but this comparison does not imply that the grip shell has the functions or official status of the anniversary console.
The accessory is said to be compatible with the dock while installed. According to the product information, it seems unnecessary to remove the grip shell when using mouse mode. Previous versions offered interchangeable grips with different shapes and textures, but this limited edition has not yet been reviewed by the article's author.
Skull & Co states that pre-order customers will also receive Legend of Zelda-themed joystick caps and button caps. The appearance of these freebies has not yet been revealed, and it remains unconfirmed whether this accessory is officially licensed.
