CD Projekt RED still aims to release physical retail versions of its future games, although the specific format has not yet been determined. Co-CEO Michał Nowakowski stated that the company is willing to adapt boxed content to suit the current distribution landscape, noting that combinations of game redemption codes and collectibles are also acceptable formats.
This statement reflects the company's intention to continue offering physical retail products, but it does not confirm that every future game will receive a disc release.
The company's original project, "Hadar," has also reached a new milestone. After several years of pre-production work, the team has established the world-building vision for this new series and has begun creating initial prototypes and experimenting with gameplay mechanics. The project is still in its early stages and has not yet entered full pre-production.
Regarding "Project Sirius," the multiplayer spin-off set in The Witcher universe, Nowakowski stated that the team and project have evolved from their original concept, leading to changes in the development structure. As this is the company's first venture into this type of game, the team is carefully considering how different elements will be presented.
