H2 Interactive announced that the "Khans of the Steppe" and "Coronations" DLCs for Crusader Kings III (Simplified Chinese) on PS5 were released on October 15, with the Chapter IV Collection also launching simultaneously on the PlayStation Store. Players who have purchased the collection will receive these two DLCs, along with the cosmetic content "Crown of the World".
"Khans of the Steppe" focuses on nomadic life across the Eurasian steppes. Players must manage their nomadic realm through herding, migration, and maintaining the loyalty of their subjects. The new steppe seasons system alters land fertility, requiring players to seek out better pastures and territories. The DLC also introduces a tributary system with varying vassal relationships, the goal of becoming the Great Khan, and events and starting options related to Mongol culture.
"Coronations" is an event pack. New rulers can invite vassals to their coronation ceremony to gain legitimacy and declare oaths upon being crowned. How faction members and opponents participate in the ceremony, as well as the decisions players make afterward, are all part of this content.
The "Crown of the World" in the Chapter IV Collection includes six crowns, four hairstyles, and two beard styles. Additional content for the collection is planned for release in Q2 2027; the October 15 launch date applies to the "Khans of the Steppe" and "Coronations" DLCs.
