Edge of Memories, inspired by Japanese role-playing games, has adjusted its PS5 release date, delaying it from November 5 to December 3.
The game is developed by French studio Midgar and published by Nacon, set in the fictional continent of Avaris. Creators involved in the project include Raita Kazama, who served as the character artist for Xenoblade Chronicles X, and Sawako Natori, who contributed to the writing of NieR.
The original release date for Edge of Memories coincided with the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Grand Theft Auto VI was also scheduled for launch in the same month. The date change may be related to avoiding competition during this period; Nacon has not provided a direct explanation for the delay. Currently, the new release date for the PS5 version is December 3.
