LINE Games has announced that the survival action game Embers & Blades will launch into Early Access on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on January 8, 2027. The game is now in its late development stages, and the recently released Demo 2.0 has reworked the core "combat framework."
Embers & Blades centers around a demon hunter. On the brink of death, the protagonist makes a pact with an angel, gaining immortality and embarking on a solitary journey to prevent the resurrection of a great demon.
The game blends Souls-like combat with survival elements, features a low-saturation art style, and offers a highly flexible progression system. The combat emphasizes action-packed experiences against large numbers of enemies. Since the project's announcement, the development team has optimized the demo multiple times based on player feedback, with Demo 2.0 further refining the core combat framework.
The game previously participated in Steam Next Fest and is now also available on the Epic Games Store. The team will continue to improve the quality and completeness of the PC Early Access version, with plans to expand to PlayStation and Xbox platforms. The specific release date for the console versions has not yet been announced.
