Adrianne Palicki hopes to return as Bobbi Morse, aka "Mockingbird," in Marvel's new series Zodiac. However, this is merely the actress's expressed desire; there is currently no confirmation that Marvel has invited her to join the cast.
When asked by Comics, Beer & Sci-Fi about a potential return, Palicki replied, "Hopefully." She said she misses playing Bobbi and would be willing to don the character's suit again. However, she only learned about the Zodiac project from a fan the day before the interview.
Palicki began portraying Bobbi in Season 2 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Her character infiltrated Hydra before eventually leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside her ex-husband, Lance Hunter. ABC later developed a spin-off titled Marvel's Most Wanted, starring the duo, but the pilot was not picked up, and neither character returned for the remaining seasons of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Hawkeye revealed that Laura Barton previously used the codename "Agent 19," which is associated with Mockingbird, but the series never explicitly identified her as Mockingbird. Zodiac will center on three original British characters and an international espionage conspiracy, primarily set in London. Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum has described it as a global spy thriller, but it remains unconfirmed whether any former Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast members will join the project.
