Here are the details:

In the latest episode of "Wicked Inside," Moon Studios revealed details of the new class system, which promises to significantly expand combat and character choices for players adventuring in Isola Sacra. Other updates include new factions players can join, offering a fresh perspective on Isola Sacra, along with other improvements that further refine the classic elements of Action Role-Playing Games (ARPGs).

New Class System

The previous attribute system that limited player playstyles has been removed. Now, players can simply pick up a weapon to choose from 24 classes and transfer traits between different classes. For example, charged lightning spears rain down like arrows, stealth tactics can end battles before they begin, and combining multiple class advantages creates breathtaking synergistic weapon systems. With 362 traits across 24 classes, there are numerous ways to fill trait slots, further expanded by the addition of weapons.

Factions

Rise from a recruit to the top of the food chain within Isola Sacra's six major factions, such as the Severed Hand Assassins, the Knights of the Sacrament Guard, or the Voiceless. Each faction has its own unique questline, new traits, exclusive merchants, and some extra surprises.

Cerim Cores

The class system determines how players fight, while Cerim Cores determine their survivability. This ranges from simple upgrades like Health, Stamina, and Focus, to more exotic attributes such as "Feral" increasing attack speed or "Crimson" granting life steal. It's a tempting game of risk and reward, as exceeding the core limit means taking increased damage from all attacks.

Road to the 1.0 Release

This is no small update. The No Rest for the Wicked 1.0 update will nearly double the game's size, adding new explorable areas, new hostile factions, new bosses, an optimized loot system, combat system upgrades, improved gameplay experience, and most importantly: ensuring PS5 performance is as smooth as possible.

No Rest for the Wicked is a critically acclaimed action role-playing game developed by Moon Studios, the studio behind the popular Ori series. The game cleverly blends a dark narrative, picturesque visuals, and top-tier Souls-like combat and RPG design. Players take on the role of Cerim, a cleric with mysterious powers tasked with eradicating the Plague—an ancient scourge that has begun to consume Isola Sacra, an island already ravaged by political turmoil and death. Players can collect and craft weapons and items to turn the tide of battle, upgrade their character and home, and carve out their role in an epic story woven with blood and courage.

No Rest for the Wicked is currently in Early Access on PC. The game will launch on PS5 and PC (Steam) in March 2027, followed by releases on Xbox Series X/S and Switch 2.
