Phantom Blade Zero, developed and published by S-GAME, entered the top 10 of Steam's "Popular Upcoming" section prior to its release. S-GAME previously confirmed that the total number of wishlists across all available store platforms has exceeded 3 million.
In the list released on October 18, Phantom Blade Zero appeared alongside titles such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. There are no confirmed pre-order figures yet; chart positions and wishlist counts should not be directly equated to actual sales.
Phantom Blade Zero features a wuxia narrative and fast-paced martial arts combat. Players assume the role of Soul, a wandering warrior with only 66 days left to live, who wields over 30 weapons and 20 types of "Phantom Blades" while uncovering a conspiracy. The developer emphasizes that this is not a typical Soulslike game and will offer multiple difficulty levels along with a weapon reforging system.
Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game supports ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS. The developer claims that older GPUs like the RTX 3060 Ti can achieve 1440p at 60 FPS with DLSS enabled, while path tracing at 4K resolution requires newer GPUs such as the RTX 5080.
Phantom Blade Zero will officially launch on October 29, available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and PS5.
