KONAMI has released the latest trailer during gamescom Opening Night Live,
Richard (played by Terry O'Quinn) and various monster designs revealed for the first time
August 26, 2026 – Konami Digital Entertainment Limited (KONAMI) premiered the latest trailer during gamescom Opening Night Live today and announced the main cast for SILENT HILL: Townfall.
Emmy® Award winner Terry O'Quinn, known for his roles in Lost and The Walking Dead: Survivors, plays Richard in this title. This mysterious figure, who brings Simon back to St. Amelia, sets the stage for the series of events in SILENT HILL: Townfall. As Simon's journey progresses, the connection between Richard, the town, and its turbulent past becomes increasingly impossible to ignore.
Jovan Adepo, known for his roles in Odyssey, It: Welcome to Derry, and Three-Body Problem, plays the protagonist Simon Odell, who is brought back to this remote settlement in Scotland to "set things right." Waking up with almost no memory, Simon receives cryptic messages and fragments of a nearly forgotten past through a mysterious handheld TV called the CRTV, quickly becoming embroiled in this enigmatic journey.
Kezia Burrows, who appeared in the game Observation, plays Zoe, a compassionate nurse. Her voice comes through the static of the CRTV, urging Simon to "come back to her." Unable to ignore those in need, Zoe becomes deeply entangled in the lives of St. Amelia's residents and the events that have shaped the town.
The latest trailer also reveals the terrifying threats awaiting Simon, including relentless new monsters and unsettling eerie sights, hinting at the dark truths lurking beneath the surface of St. Amelia.
The latest chapter in the SILENT HILL series, SILENT HILL: Townfall, stays true to the series' long-standing core themes of mystery, tragedy, and loss, while also offering a fresh interpretation of the psychological horror experience.
The game is played from a first-person perspective. Players take on the role of Simon, exploring, evading, and striving to survive with limited weapons and tools, including the CRTV handheld TV used to receive unstable signals. The heart-pounding process of escaping pursuers, intense combat pacing, and story-driven puzzles gradually uncover truths that can no longer remain buried.
SILENT HILL: Townfall is scheduled for release on September 24, 2026, on PlayStation®5, Steam®, Epic Games Store, and other platforms. Pre-orders are now open. For more information, please visit the official website.
