Four years after its release, the arcade racing game Route continues to expand its features. Following its launch on PlayStation 5 earlier this year, the PC version now supports user-created mods, with the initial content available via the Steam Workshop.
Players can install mods directly from the game's main menu without having to manually locate files and configure them. The development team also plans to release official modding documentation, but it is not yet available, and no specific release date has been announced.
Meanwhile, Route 2 is still in development and currently in the early Alpha stage. The developers have officially revealed the names of two main characters for the first time: Tony and Annie.
The developers have not yet provided details on Tony and Annie's backstories, relationships, gameplay roles, or related plot points. More gameplay details for Route 2 are expected to be revealed by the development team in the future.
