SNK Corporation announced today that the SCS 2026 (SNK Championship Series 2026) Grand Finals will be held in Chengdu from October 16 to 18.
Following Shanghai and Beijing, the SCS Grand Finals comes to Southwest China for the first time, landing in Chengdu. This city, with its rich esports culture and active player community, is about to welcome top fighters and gaming enthusiasts from around the world. Exciting matches will unfold here, once again showcasing the unique charm of fighting game competitions.
This year's SCS features two main competition titles: "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves" and "The King of Fighters XV," with a total prize pool of 1 million yuan. The champion of "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves" will receive 300,000 yuan, while the champion of "The King of Fighters XV" will receive 120,000 yuan.
Since the official launch of SCS 2026 this March, after rounds of online qualifiers and offline regional tournaments, a total of 16 "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves" players and 8 "The King of Fighters XV" players have broken through from global participants to advance to the Grand Finals. They will compete over a three-day offline schedule, vying for the highest honor of the year.
In addition to crowning the annual champions for each title, the Grand Finals will also award 2 direct qualification spots for "The King of Fighters XV" at SWC 2026 (SNK World Championship 2026) and 2 direct qualification spots for "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves." The winners will thus advance to a higher-level international competitive stage.
