HORI's "Electronic Ocarina of Time" for the Nintendo Switch 2 game "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered" is now available for pre-order, scheduled for release on November 5th at a price of 7,980 yen (including tax). The product is available for pre-order on the HORI official online store and Amazon.
This accessory is officially licensed by Nintendo and can be used with the game's sound recognition feature. The Nintendo Switch 2 can pick up sounds emitted by the device, causing Link in the game to respond accordingly during performance scenes.
The product's design and finger hole operations are inspired by the ocarina, but it is not a traditional instrument that produces sound by blowing air. In Free Play mode, users can hold down different finger holes like an ocarina to play melodies themselves; Auto Play mode includes 12 tracks from "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered," which can be played by pressing buttons.
The Electronic Ocarina of Time also features a volume control knob and a headphone jack, allowing users to enjoy it without disturbing their surroundings. Currently announced information only confirms its functionality for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remastered."
